Every year, the CTR Foundation holds a drive in conjunction with the March CTR Board of Directors meeting to collect items needed by local area homeless shelters. And every year, the CTR BOD's generosity is overwhelming! In March of 2022, the drive benefitted Columbus House (Middletown, Wallingford and New Haven shelters) and The Connection/Julie's Safe House in Enfield. In addition to the mounds of items donated, Columbus House and Julie's Safe House will split $1,300 in monetary donations.

Our 6th Annual be homeful for the holidays campaign [December 2021] was another huge success! The campaign raised over $75,000 and the CT REALTORS Foundation provided Paddington plush bears and backpacks to children spending the holidays in shelters across Connecticut thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated. The funds will be used throughout the coming year to provide emergency assistance and prevent Connecticut families from becoming homeless. Read more...

Our 6th Annual “Dog Days of Summer” campaign (summer 2021) was a record-breaker, raising $3,709. Pet Animal Welfare Society in Norwalk and New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare Society split pet food and supplies donated in July during the CTR Board of Directors meeting and also received $927.25 each from funds raised. The other half of donations received will be used to purchase 24 sets of pet oxygen masks for fire departments throughout the state.
