The 9th Annual Dog Days of Summer campaign was another success! Thanks to our generous donors, we collected much-needed supplies and $3,900 ($1,950 each) for two local rescues (PawSafe and The Little Guild) working to make sure even our furry friends have a place to call home…THANK YOU!

A big "thank you" to all who donated to the Foundation via the Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity program! Through all of your generous donations, we were able to raise nearly $7,000 which includes just over $900 from the 15% matching donation feature of the program. All donations will go directly to the Raymond F. Gates, Jr. Memorial Scholarship fund to award in scholarships next year.

The CT REALTORS® Hometown Heroes grant program provides immediate mortgage, rent, property tax or other housing-related expense relief to those who exemplify extraordinary service to the communities where we live and work. The latest Hometown Heroes grant was presented to the Cornerstone Foundation in memory of their past Deputy Director. Read the press release.

Our 6th annual Shelter Drive was a big success thanks to the generosity of CTR’s Board of Directors! Housing and food insecurity are growing problems being faced by many in communities across our State. We were happy to collect much-needed items and $691 in monetary donations for two local shelters: The Cornerstone Foundation that operates 3 shelters, a community kitchen, food pantry and clothing bank along with Spooner House shelter and its Valley Food Bank operations. We are so grateful to all who donated!

Our 8th annual “be homeful for the holidays” campaign (December 2023) in partnership with the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness turned out to be another successful year! We raised just over $43,500 to help prevent family homelessness and the Foundation provided Paddington plush bears (800+), backpacks (600+) and books (200+) to 33 shelters/homeless organizations across Connecticut for children there for the holidays and throughout the year. All funds raised are used to provide emergency assistance to keep families in their homes and from entering a shelter. As usual, it takes a village – we could not do this without the support of so many including our members/donors, firms, local Boards/Associations and Daley Moving & Storage who donate their time/service to assist with the delivery of gifts every year. You can visit the Foundation Facebook page (link) to see pictures from this year’s shelter deliveries.
