Here are some of the charitable efforts and contributions the CT REALTORS® Foundation has accomplished thanks to the generous support of our REALTOR® members and family.

The 11th annual Dog Days of Summer (2026) raised $4,475, which is the campaign’s second highest yearly total. This year's campaign benefited Project Precious Rescue, Inc., a foster-based rescue in Fairfield County, and Veterinary Care Everywhere, which provides free or low-cost veterinary services across Connecticut, focusing primarily on assisting veterans, the disabled and seniors. Thank you to all who donated!

Thanks to those who supported the Foundation/Gates Scholarship through the 2026 Travelers Championship “Birdies for Charity” program. We raised $5,948 which generated $892.20 in bonus bucks for a total of $6,840.20! Thanks to our donors for helping us to exceed last year’s fundraising total and mark the 50th anniversary of the Gates Scholarship fund.

The 10th annual (2025) be homeful for the holidays campaign was our best year yet! Each year, we partner with the CT Coalition to End Homelessness to raise emergency assistance funding to keep children and families safe at home and from having to enter a homeless shelter. This year, thanks to our extremely generous donors, we were able to raise $65,379! We are so grateful to our “village” of members, local Boards, local Board Foundations, MLSs, real estate firms and members of the public. And with the constant support of Daley Moving & Storage donating a truck/driver and the assistance our local Boards, we delivered more than 1,900 plush Paddington bears, Paddington chime balls, backpacks and Paddington books to 31 homeless organizations/shelters across the state with the Foundation’s sponsorship of these gifts. The 10th Annual Dog Days of Summer campaign (summer 2025) was a success once again! We collected much-needed supplies at the July CTR Board of Directors meeting and thanks to all of our generous donors, we were able to raise $3,410 which will be split this year between Army’s Legacy Animal Rescue & Sanctuary and Hands Helping Paws Project. THANK YOU!!

The CT REALTORS® Hometown Heroes grant program provides immediate mortgage, rent, property tax or other housing-related expense relief to those who exemplify extraordinary service to the communities where we live and work. The latest Hometown Heroes grant was presented to the Cornerstone Foundation in memory of their past Deputy Director (June 2024). Read the press release.
